Info
JOEY is a design-led brand exploring sustainable fashion through the upcycling of old denim.
By transforming worn-out jeans into custom bags, the project reframes waste as a resource and highlights the value of existing materials.
JOEY is built as a service-driven brand that invites users to participate in the making process.
Customers send in their unused denim, which is then redesigned and reconstructed into one-of-a-kind bags.
Each piece carries traces of its original life, turning memory into material and extending the lifespan of the fabric.
The system also incorporates leftover materials into smaller accessories, ensuring minimal waste throughout production.
Through this approach, JOEY positions sustainability not as a statement, but as a practical and design-driven process—connecting material, use, and value.
