From behind-the-scenes supplier to a brand of its own — an identity built to give memories a physical form.
MUHAI has worked behind the scenes of China’s wedding photography industry for years, producing albums and image products for established photography studios, including as a long-term supplier to VIVAN. With deep experience in production and craftsmanship already in place, MUHAI came to us at a turning point: moving beyond the role of supplier to build a brand with its own voice, identity, and relationship with the people it serves.
The project began with a question: in a world where most photographs remain on screens, why do certain memories still deserve a physical form?
For MUHAI, an album is more than a container for photographs. It gives memory weight, texture, and presence — something that can be touched, opened, shared, and returned to over time.
From this idea, we built the identity around the relationship between time and memory. Lines, frames, and measured intervals form a visual language inspired by the passage of time and the moments we choose to preserve within it. Restrained typography, generous space, and a muted palette allow photography to remain at the center.
The result is a complete system spanning brand strategy, visual identity, graphic language, packaging, and brand guidelines — marking MUHAI’s transition from a trusted industry supplier into a brand of its own.
